The council will adapt the property, which formerly served as a rural school, to create an exhibition and educational space. The works will include interior refurbishment, completion of three classrooms, construction of a general access restroom, and installation of all necessary services such as electricity, plumbing, sanitation, and air conditioning.
Externally, a viewpoint will be created offering views of the Siete Fuentes springs and the landscape where different irrigation plots are organized. The aim is to link the center with the city's hydraulic heritage and its fertile plain.
The project will involve 39 individuals, comprising 7 skilled workers and 32 laborers across various professional fields. The allocated budget for this initiative amounts to 148,200 euros.
Funding will be provided by the SEPE (68,660 euros), the Junta de Andalucía and the Diputación (30,897 euros), and the Baza City Council itself (48,632 euros). Construction will commence once the relevant administrative procedures are finalized.
