Located in Antequera's Parque de la Negrita, the show provides a multisensory experience that blends projections of Spanish painting masterpieces, live music, poetic recitations, and a carefully curated aromatic ambiance. This initiative aims to bring the pictorial legacy closer to all audiences in a contemporary and accessible way.
Inside the geodesic dome, attendees are immersed in a journey featuring 20 prominent works from the Museo Nacional del Prado, such as Las Meninas by Velázquez, El Caballero de la mano en el pecho by El Greco, and La Maja desnuda by Goya. These pieces interact with verses from authors like Lope de Vega, Cervantes, Machado, or Lorca, accompanied by contemporary musical compositions performed by a string quartet.
The dome features an auditorium for 100 people, designed with circular stands for optimal viewing. The experience allows visitors to appreciate the details and nuances of the artworks, which were selected with the advice of a team of specialists. Additionally, the visit includes an outdoor area with an artist's workshop and a display for creating period portraits using Artificial Intelligence.
Tickets for 'Luz y Verso' are priced at five euros, with free admission for those under 17 and over 65. All proceeds will go to the Asociación Casas de Asís de Atención Social y Alimentaria in Antequera and its region. Passes are available on the Fundación Unicaja website until May 3rd, with special schedules during the weekend and on May 1st.
