The competition, already a tradition in the town, primarily aims to showcase the beauty and uniqueness of Tarifa from the perspective of those who live in and visit it. Participants can use both professional cameras and mobile phones to capture their favorite spots.

At the local level, the contest offers a first prize of 200 euros and the inclusion of the winning image in the official promotional material of the municipality. The second prize is 100 euros. Additionally, the most outstanding photographs will have the opportunity to compete nationally, where prizes can reach up to 500 euros, serving as a platform for amateur photographers.

To participate, interested individuals must take a photograph in Tarifa, upload it to Instagram with the hashtags #mirinconfavorito, #mirinconfavoritodetarifa, and #universotarifa. It is essential to have a public profile, follow the official contest and tourism accounts, and complete an online registration form. The jury will also evaluate the creativity of the text accompanying each image.

The deadline for submitting photographs is April 24. Local winners will be announced on April 30, while national prizes will be revealed on September 27, coinciding with World Tourism Day. This initiative not only promotes Tarifa's landscapes but also encourages their rediscovery through new perspectives.
