To ensure that all families can fully enjoy the Patron Saint Festivities, the Los Barrios City Council has implemented a system of preferential passes. These personal and non-transferable documents grant priority access to attractions for children, youth, and adults with functional diversity, eliminating waiting times.
This initiative seeks to promote equality and non-discrimination, allowing all residents to participate in the festivities under equitable conditions. The goal is to consolidate a more open, safe, and inclusive fair, based on tolerance and mutual respect.
Complementing these actions, it has been established that attractions will operate without music daily between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Additionally, a free train service will be offered to facilitate access to the fairgrounds, reducing the need for private vehicle use.
“"The Consistory wants to convey a message of equality and non-discrimination, making it easier for all residents to enjoy these dates under the same conditions."
Finally, the Los Barrios City Council will install a 'Punto Violeta', a space dedicated to information, awareness, and support against gender-based violence. This point will be operational from May 13 to May 16, from 9:00 PM to 4:00 AM, reinforcing the commitment to the safety and well-being of all attendees.
