The ceremony, held in the courtyard of the building located on Paseo de la Constitución, was presided over by the local mayor and the delegate of Social Services. This event is part of the festivities that will continue until next Sunday, May 17.

During the event, the queen of the 2026 court of honor was crowned by the mayor. Following this, sashes were presented to the ladies of honor who complete the entourage, and they also received a bouquet of flowers as a gift.

The attending authorities extended their best wishes for a joyful celebration to both the queen and her ladies, as well as to all members of the senior center, emphasizing the importance of community participation in these traditional festivities.
