The "Ciudalín" project consists of an educational workbook designed for children to learn while exploring the history, nooks, and traditions of their own cities. The goal is to adapt learning to the identity of each place, promoting knowledge of the local environment and culture.
Álvaro Rodríguez, a teacher at the Salesianos school, presented this tool to the mayor, Juan Franco, who praised the initiative's originality. "Ciudalín" is already expanding to other cities in Andalusia and is available in local bookstores.
The City Council of La Línea de la Concepción is considering acquiring a batch of these workbooks for free distribution among the municipality's schoolchildren, aiming to foster learning and cultural roots among the youth.
Rodríguez emphasized that "Ciudalín" is a cultural tool "of the most traditional character of La Línea", enriched with numerous illustrations of the city, which helps students learn about their environment and culture in an enjoyable and effective way.
