The exhibition ‘Ver’, an interactive proposal by Chinese creator Shen Leiming, will remain installed in the temporary hall of the Cruz Herrera Museum until the end of August. This decision is a response to the significant interest and favorable reception recorded among attending visitors.
As a consequence of extending this exhibition, the inauguration of the collection of unpublished paintings by José Cruz Herrera, which was scheduled for this Saturday, has been postponed until September.
Shen Leiming's exhibition offers a dynamic visual experience that merges painting, reflective surfaces, and moving light projections. Curated by artist Chu Lily, the activity is part of the commemorative program for the tenth anniversary of the museum's opening at the Villa San José headquarters.
The installation is notable for its participatory nature, allowing citizens to interact directly with the pieces. Using a painted support on reflective material and a flashlight, projections create constantly transforming abstract images on the wall, making the viewer an active part of the artistic creation.
