Clubs from the region and independent athletes collectively secured over twenty medals across various male and female categories, showcasing strong competitive performance.
The Algeciras Veterans Club spearheaded the regional tally with fourteen medals. Notable performers include Isabel Iglesias (gold in discus and silver in shot put F60), Estefanía Solís (gold in 1,500m and 800m F35), Sergio Morales (gold in 1,500m and 800m M45), Juan José Moreno (bronze in 1,500m and 5,000m M60), Jesús Francisco Andrades (silver in 1,500m M35), Jesús Gómez (bronze in shot put M40), Fernando Colado (silver in 5,000m M50), and Isaac Moya (silver in 400m M45).
The Algeciras club also clinched gold in the 4x400m M45 relay, with a team comprising Isaac Moya, Juan Francisco Pérez Vargas-Machuca, Fernando Colado, and Sergio Morales. They also secured silver in the 4x400m M55 relay.
Bahía de Algeciras achieved six gold medals, with standout performances from Fátima Porras (gold in 5,000m F50), Luis Sánchez (gold in 100m and 200m M55), Fernando Gallego (gold in high jump M60), and Antonio Crespo (gold in long jump and triple jump M65).
Meanwhile, the Club Atletismo Linense earned three medals: two silvers for Salvador González (1,500m and 800m M70) and a bronze for José Luis Navas (800m M75).
Additional medals for the region came from María Teresa Boza (gold in javelin and silver in shot put F55) and Koke Hidalgo (gold in shot put and silver in javelin F55).
