The first phase of restrictions will begin this Monday, June 8, at 3:00 PM, with the complete closure of the South Plot, between Oasis and Trafalgar. This measure is an initial step for the major summer transit operation of the OPE.
Subsequently, on June 22, restrictions will extend to the strip of the Llano parallel to Avenida Virgen del Carmen. Parking spaces between the access ramp and the Blas Infante roundabout will be closed, allowing heavy machinery to enter for the third phase of redevelopment of the Maritime Lake project.
Finally, on July 1, the Central Plot will be closed and the North Plot, currently hosting fairground attractions, will be freed up. After the Feria Real, the Llano Amarillo will be exclusively dedicated to the logistical and security arrangements for the OPE 2026.
To compensate for the loss of parking spaces, the Port Authority will set up a provisional area in the North Plot capable of accommodating approximately 200 vehicles while the Maritime Lake works are underway. Both administrations are requesting cooperation from drivers and attention to the temporary signage.
