Algeciras' Loluba CF-A has secured the championship title in the First Division of the Andalusian Inclusive League, marking the culmination of a remarkable season. This achievement underscores the growing competitiveness and demands of this league, which aims to normalize the participation of athletes with intellectual disabilities by recognizing their sporting merits.
The sporting success is a direct result of the collaboration agreement between Apadis (Association of Parents of People with Disabilities) and Loluba CF. This strategic alliance has strengthened an inclusive sports project that continues to grow season after season.
In addition to the first team's championship, Loluba CF-B finished fifth in the First Division, while Loluba CF-C secured the same position in the Third Division, demonstrating the project's depth and reach.
The club's board and Apadis have emphasized not only the sporting value but also the immense social and human significance of this triumph, which rewards the dedication and effort of all the players.
In recognition of this milestone, the mayor of Algeciras, José Ignacio Landaluce, will host an official reception for the team on Monday, June 15, at 1:00 PM. The club has expressed gratitude for the ongoing support from the City Council and the contribution of the la Caixa Foundation to the project's development.
