The city in Cádiz will transform the emblematic María Cristina Park into a grand showcase of flavors from May 22nd to 24th. The initiative, presented by the City Council, aims to support traditional commerce, municipal markets, and local and Andalusian producers.
Throughout the three days of the fair, the park will be a gastronomic and cultural space featuring artisan producers, offering tastings, pairings, showcookings, workshops, live music, and family-friendly activities. The goal is to boost the local economy and provide direct consumer visibility for products.
Cheese will be the main highlight of this edition, with participation from local producers and others from across Andalusia. The delegate for Commerce and Markets, Sabina Quiles, emphasized the importance of such initiatives in promoting products and enhancing the city's image, thanking the involvement of all municipal departments and the business sector.
We want this fair to be more than just another event on the calendar; we want it to be a place where coexistence, flavors, and moments unite us as a city. This is how we support our own.
Mayor José Ignacio Landaluce highlighted that the event is designed to become a fixture in the city's annual calendar, with aspirations for growth and increased projection in future editions.
