The team, composed of Adri, Jose, Arnaud, Óscar, and Mario, will participate with the vessel ‘Marea’ in the competition to be held from October 1 to 4, 2026, in the waters of Ceuta. The anglers arrive at the event as the current champions and two-time winners of the 2024 and 2025 editions, hoping to bring the trophy back to the city for the third consecutive year.
During the meeting, the mayor also addressed matters of interest for the club's future, such as the concession renewal. This process has the support of the City Council and is being handled with the Port Authority. Other ongoing projects were also discussed, including the establishment of a diving school.
Juan Franco praised the club's effort and dedication, highlighting that, "despite being a humble entity, it is driving important projects, achieving great sporting results, and contributing to projecting a positive image of the city."
