The conferences, taking place on October 20 and 22, focus on the need to improve prevention, early detection, and intervention in issues affecting minors, requiring the joint involvement of educational centers, police forces, social services, and the Justice Administration.

Organized by the Algeciras Local Police School and the Mancomunidad de Municipios, with the collaboration of the Algeciras City Council, the conferences offer specialized training to improve procedures for acting in situations of risk for children and adolescents.
The program addresses absenteeism, various forms of school bullying, self-harm and suicidal behaviors, and risks associated with the use of new technologies and artificial intelligence, analyzing causes, manifestations, and intervention tools.
The first session was dedicated to school bullying and vulnerability in classrooms, delving into self-harm and suicidal behaviors in minors, interdisciplinary responses from educational centers, and new forms of technological harassment. A working group on prevention, detection, and action against bullying was included.
