The Provincial Council of Córdoba, through the Provincial Plan “Diputación Invierte” for Economic Reactivation for Local Entities, has granted this financial aid to the Montemayor council. The funds will be allocated to a total of 16 specific projects.
Among the planned actions are improvements to accessibility in public streets, pavement enhancement on the prolongation of Calle 28 de Febrero, and the removal of cypress trees in poor condition from the municipal cemetery. The installation of a irrigation shed in the Cerro de la Alcoba Park and another storage shed in the green area of Carretera de la Estación are also contemplated.
The plan also includes the installation of urban furniture and children's games in municipal parks, maintenance and painting of the CEIP Miguel de Cervantes school, and the improvement of the low-voltage installation at the fairgrounds. Investment will be directed towards improving the municipal gym equipment and the changing rooms of the municipal football field.
Other interventions include improving the petanque play area on Ramón y Cajal street, installing air conditioning equipment in the Municipal Market, and enhancing the La Pileta and El Frenil rural road.
Finally, the subsidy will enable the implementation and development of the environmental digital platform “Línea Verde”, the acquisition of computer equipment for General Administration services, and the purchase of semi-automatic external defibrillator units for public areas.
