The project, part of the Urban Environments and Rural Agenda Humanization Plan 2024-2027, has a total budget of 96,835 euros (VAT included), fully financed by the Provincial Council of Córdoba. The aim is to enhance the park's recreational offerings, responding to community requests.
The new children's play equipment will be located in the center of the park, covering an area of approximately 1,000 square meters near the river. This placement is intended to create synergy with the riverbank and attract activity to the riverside, aligning with the council's strategy to revitalize river margins.
A study was conducted to ensure the selected play structures are unique and novel compared to existing ones in the municipality. The layout of the play area, including benches, bins, and pathways, is designed perpendicular to the river to maximize views and spatial relationships with the watercourse.
Among the features to be installed are a 25-meter zipline with a platform, a supernova spinner, a rotating carousel, and a directional swing with three units, all intended to be a focal point for residents.
