The La Rambla City Council has presented the program for the 2026 San Lorenzo Fair and Festivities, aiming to be more inclusive, secure, and participatory, with over two weeks of activities.

The La Rambla City Council presented this Thursday the program for the 2026 San Lorenzo Fair and Festivities. This edition aims to consolidate the municipality as a festive benchmark in the province of Córdoba, offering a diverse proposal for all audiences that combines tradition, culture, music, sports, and community.
Mayor Jorge Jiménez highlighted during the presentation that the San Lorenzo Fair is "much more than just a few days of celebration," defining it as "a space for reunion, coexistence, tradition, and pride of belonging." He emphasized that the festivities are an expression of the municipality's identity and a showcase for projecting the image of La Rambla, considering it "culture, history, heritage, tourism, and economic development."
The council's objective has been to design a program that is "more attractive, participatory, inclusive, fun, and secure." The calendar of activities will take place in various spaces and will include cultural, sports, children's, musical, and traditional proposals.
Among the organizational novelties are the continuation of the Daytime Fair at the Municipal Booth on Barrios street, the children's play area "Los Pollitos Lerele," and the expansion of the fairground's activity with the opening of night booths starting August 8th, responding to sector demand.
A significant security deployment is planned for the 2026 Fair, with reinforced private security and a Special Plan coordinated among the Local Police, Civil Guard, Civil Protection, and health services to ensure the smooth running of the festivities.
The ENBARRO 2026 International Pottery and Ceramics Contest, declared of Tourist Interest of Andalusia, will be a key highlight. This year holds special significance as it coincides with the centenary of the first Pottery and Ceramics Exhibition in La Rambla, the oldest in Spain.
The program also includes numerous concerts and musical performances, notably featuring DJ Carlos Jean, traditional sports activities, children's events, religious ceremonies in honor of San Lorenzo, the Daytime Fair, the traditional Fair Proclamation, and the Pensioners' Dinner. Specific measures for equality, accessibility, and inclusion will be implemented, such as the Violet Point and the Noise-Free Fair Day.
Jorge Jiménez expressed gratitude for the work of all individuals, groups, and professionals involved in organizing the Fair, including municipal workers, security forces, associations, sports clubs, collaborating companies, fair operators, and booth holders.
Finally, the mayor invited residents and visitors to enjoy the 2026 San Lorenzo Fair and Festivities "with joy, respect, responsibility, and pride in being from La Rambla," confident that it will be "unforgettable days thanks to a quality program and, above all, thanks to the hospitality and commitment of a town that knows how to enjoy its traditions and welcome visitors."
