In collaboration with the Montilla City Council, the company has spent weeks on additional cleaning tasks to ensure that water infrastructure is in perfect condition. Throughout the year, Aguas de Montilla conducts over 300 inspections at the municipality's seven pumping stations. Additionally, regular cleaning of coarse screens, chambers, manholes, and overflows is carried out. The implementation of remote control systems and alarms allows for constant monitoring of the facilities' status, facilitating immediate interventions.
The company also promotes public awareness campaigns to encourage the proper use of grates, drains, and toilets, highlighting the harm that wet wipes and other waste cause to the sewage system.
