The 'Al Calor del Flamenco' series returns to the Posada del Potro, in the heart of Córdoba's historic center, to offer six nights of 'arte jondo' during July and August. The performances will take place every Saturday at 10:00 PM.
The initiative, organized by the Department of Culture and Historical Heritage of the Córdoba City Council in collaboration with the Association of Flamenco Artists of Córdoba, aims to bring flamenco closer to the public in an evocative heritage setting.
The program includes performances by renowned local artists. On July 18, Manuel Párraga (cante) and Javi Santiago (guitar) will perform. On July 25, it will be the turn of Raquel Baena and her dance group.
It continues on August 1 with Antonio José Nieto (cante) and Rafael Trenas Hijo (guitar). On August 8, Rafael Mesa ‘El Guerra’ and Manolo Baena will perform. On August 15, it will be the turn of Alba Martos and Antonio Contíñez.
The final dates are August 22 with Ana Jiménez (cante) and Juanjo León (toque), and the closing on August 29 with the dance performance by María José Obregón and her group.
One of the great attractions of the series is that all performances are free to attend. Entry will be free until full capacity is reached, and it will be necessary to collect an invitation at the Posada del Potro 90 minutes in advance.
This event combines heritage, summer nights, and Cordoban flamenco talent, allowing for a rediscovery of the city from a new perspective.
