The initiative, which began last year, aims to foster road safety education from childhood and promote safer, healthier, more autonomous, and sustainable mobility habits. This was stated by the head of the Area, Antonio Martín, who added that this action is part of the agreement signed with the Asociación Cultural Bomborombillo.
Martín explained that the educational intervention is based on the concept of active, safe, autonomous, and sustainable mobility (M.A.S.A), aiming for students to acquire knowledge and skills that enable them to travel responsibly and safely. The project seeks to move towards a mobility model that favors walking or cycling.
“We are thus continuing with a project that we started in 2025, with the goal of expanding its reach to other educational centers, adapting the actions to the characteristics of each municipality and taking advantage of the opportunities offered by smaller towns to promote these types of travel,” added Martín.
This edition will visit the towns of Castro del Río (October 21), Baena (October 22), Puente Genil (October 28), and La Rambla (October 29).
