The Cádiz Provincial Fire Department, with units from the Jerez station, responded urgently to a report of a house roof collapse. Initially dispatched for reconnaissance, the operation escalated to a full assistance effort after personal injuries were confirmed.
Upon arrival, firefighters confirmed that two people had been injured. According to the intervention report, both individuals were on the roof when the structure collapsed beneath them, leading to their fall.
Firefighters assisted medical personnel in evacuating the injured. After initial on-site treatment, the victims were moved from inside the property to an ambulance for subsequent transfer to the hospital.
Once the injured were attended to, municipal technicians assessed the structural condition of the building. Due to the latent danger, the fire department was requested again to secure the roof and remove unstable elements, thereby eliminating the risk of further collapses onto the public street or into the residence.
