According to the City Council, the first arrest occurred near San Juan de Dios Square, where a male with an active search and arrest warrant was intercepted. Officers intervened after detecting a dispute, and upon identifying the individual, confirmed the existence of the judicial order. During the intervention, a pointed machete approximately 11 centimeters long was seized from him.
In a second operation, also on Friday afternoon, the Local Police arrested a man near the Central Market for an alleged public health offense. The arrest was part of the preventive work carried out by the police force in the area. Officers observed the individual conducting a hashish transaction inside a vehicle. After intercepting it, various narcotic substances, including hashish and cocaine, classified and marked for distribution, were found, along with 756 euros in cash.
Finally, the Viogén unit of the Local Police of Cádiz proceeded to arrest a male in Plaza de España for an alleged gender violence offense. The events occurred late on Friday, when the individual assaulted his partner, causing injuries. Several witnesses observed the aggression, and their statements corroborated the victim's account, activating the corresponding protocol for such cases.
