Photography, nature, and solidarity will converge in a special event in Alcalá de los Gazules on August 8th. Nature photographer Reklu Fernández will offer a charity night photography workshop, organized by Wild Adventure Spain, where participants will learn to capture the Milky Way and create impressive circumpolar images.
This activity, limited to twelve participants and suitable for both beginners and experts, will donate all proceeds to support victims of the earthquake in Venezuela. The session will take place at the Torre del Esparragal and its surroundings, a prime location in the province of Cádiz due to its low light pollution, ideal for observing the night sky.
Attendees will receive practical training on camera settings for night photography, capturing the Milky Way, performing long-exposure shots, and composing impactful images in natural settings, working with both natural and artificial light.
Under the slogan "Turn your passion for photography into a gesture of hope," the initiative aims to leverage nature tourism and photography as tools for humanitarian aid, offering an opportunity to contribute to a charitable cause while enjoying the spectacle of the starry sky.
Places are limited to a maximum of 12 participants, so early registration is recommended. Participants need to have a DSLR or Mirrorless camera, wide-angle lenses, a tripod, storage cards, and extra batteries. Comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes are advised.
