This agreement formalizes the need for a strategic working tool to analyze the impact of current shortcomings on the economy and investment attraction. The president of the Provincial Council, Almudena Martínez del Junco, highlighted the existing "serious deficiencies" and the importance of a professional and updated analysis.
Currently, the province lacks an updated official registry on infrastructure evolution and investment, a key indicator for economic growth. The new study aims to diagnose needs and prioritize actions to enhance Cádiz's competitiveness.
The report, which will involve territorial stakeholders and experts, will focus on communication, transport, and energy infrastructure. It will serve as an action plan and political agenda to address the necessary improvements that will drive socioeconomic growth and enhance the daily lives of citizens.
The document will analyze the economic, social, and infrastructure evolution in Cádiz between 2015 and 2025. It will include a chapter on the diagnosis of the current situation and propose general priorities for action to guide future public investments.
