The book Pueblo, by writer Julio Mariscal, will be presented in Cádiz this Thursday, July 9th. The event will take place at 8:30 PM at the cultural bar La Casapuerta de Luisa, located at Sagasta street, 40.
The work, which remained unpublished until now, has been published by Ediciones Impresiones, a publishing house from Paterna de la Rivera. This publication enriches the literary legacy of Julio Mariscal, originally from Arcos de la Frontera.
The presentation will feature poet Pedro Sevilla, author of the prologue; editor Juan F. Sánchez; and Manuel Sánchez Ortiz de Landaluce, who served as the text's corrector and custodian of the author's work. The bookstore Manuel de Falla is collaborating in promoting the event.
The gathering will focus on the recovery and dissemination of Pueblo, a work that now sees the light thanks to a publishing house from the province of Cádiz.
La Casapuerta de Luisa, known for combining hospitality with cultural programming, is a regular venue for literary presentations and author encounters in the city.
Participants will discuss the manuscript's editing process and the work's context. Pedro Sevilla will offer his perspective as the prologue writer, Juan F. Sánchez will explain the editing details, and Manuel Sánchez Ortiz de Landaluce will share his role as corrector and custodian of Mariscal's literary production.
The collaboration with Manuel de Falla bookstore will facilitate the book's local distribution. No details have been provided regarding the initial print run or future presentations.
The event, with free admission until full capacity, is part of the establishment's regular cultural programming.
