During a visit to Barbate this Friday, Antonio Sanz, head of the PP of Cádiz list for the regional elections, emphasized the priority that the Government of Juanma Moreno gives to the town. At the start of the electoral pre-campaign, Sanz expressed his pride in leading the candidacy, stressing the work and commitment to the province and its municipalities.
“"We are the government of good news."
Sanz's main announcement was the approval of the functional plan for the new Barbate health center, a crucial step for the construction of modern healthcare facilities in the municipality. This plan represents a definitive advance towards a high-capacity infrastructure, designed to meet the current and future needs of the population.
The future health center will have an area of over 4,000 square meters, housing 30 family medicine consultations and five pediatric consultations. In addition, it will include multipurpose consultations and an immediate care area with specific spaces for emergencies, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures. Minor surgery, dentistry, and physiotherapy services will also be incorporated, along with an area dedicated to health education and a support unit for social work and nursing.
Likewise, the center will have a fully equipped primary care emergency service, which will improve response capacity in urgent situations and offer more accessible and decisive care. Antonio Sanz defended the effort made to prepare everything necessary and move towards the tender and execution of the project, which represents an investment of 11 million euros to reinforce primary care in Barbate.
