A representative of the Popular Party visited La Línea de la Concepción to emphasize the work of their party in the municipality. During his speech, he stressed that support for his party is crucial for the city's continued progress.
The balance of the last four years of government was presented, highlighting the “commitment and realities” of the Andalusian Executive and the Cádiz Provincial Council. A provincial investment of 33.6 million euros since 2023 was reported, with an additional 10 million planned for the current fiscal year. The Junta de Andalucía has contributed over 74 million euros in accumulated investments in the city during the legislature.

Among the projects already executed or underway, the new municipal stadium was mentioned, with an investment close to 6 million euros, which has positioned La Línea as a sports benchmark. The improvement of the Carretera del Zabal, with 1.7 million euros in execution, and the new access road via El Higuerón, exceeding 16 million euros and currently under development, were also highlighted.
In the port sector, the modernization of the port of La Atunara was noted, with 1.6 million euros allocated to new facilities and labor improvements. Future actions such as dredging and the enclosure of the South breakwater are planned, included in the 2026 budgets.
In healthcare, over 3.6 million euros have been invested in the hospital, including facility improvements and the creation of a new child and adolescent mental health hospitalization unit. Furthermore, the future Santa Margarita health center will be promoted, with a planned investment of 4 million euros, to cover an expanding area of the city. In housing, 1.6 million euros have been allocated for rehabilitation in neighborhoods like Gravina or Periáñez, and over 8.6 million euros in tourism incentives through Junta programs.
For the next legislature, commitments such as the construction of the City of Justice, with a reserve of 10 million euros, the expansion of educational centers, infrastructure improvements, and the creation of a high-capacity public transport system connecting La Línea with the Campo de Gibraltar have been reiterated.
