Víctor Barbero has taken office as the new secretary general of the Sanlúcar City Council in an event presided over by the mayor, Carmen Álvarez, in the Plenary Hall of the Municipal Palace.
Barbero thus takes on the responsibility of chief public notary for the local Corporation, after years of service within the council, including roles as head clerk and acting secretary general.
“"With what I have learned, the respect of my colleagues, and the firmest will to serve this council, this corporation, and the taxpayer."
The new secretary general emphasized his "decided belief in public service" and expressed his hope "to be able to contribute to it," summarizing his commitment in three words: "integrity, rigor, and respect."
Mayor Carmen Álvarez congratulated Víctor Barbero, expressing her conviction that he "will rise to this new challenge, facing it with dedication, professionalism, and a vocation for service," and wished him "much success in this new stage".
