Cruise activity at the Port of Cadiz continues to boom, attracting an ever-growing number of vessels and tourists. As a testament to this positive trend, the Cadiz dock will receive two maiden cruise calls within a two-day period.
This Saturday, August 8, the arrival of the Explora III is scheduled, a luxury cruise ship operated by Explora Journeys. This vessel, of American nationality, features 461 suites, 5 heated swimming pools, 7 restaurants, and 12 bars. It will arrive in Cadiz with 820 passengers on board before departing for Lisbon to commence a luxury cruise bound for the United Kingdom, Denmark, Germany, and Iceland.
The schedule of calls continues on Monday with the arrival of the Mein Schiff Flow, a German-flagged cruise ship from the Tui Cruises fleet. Built this year, the ship measures 333 meters in length and has 18 decks. Approximately 2,766 passengers are expected to disembark in Cadiz, before they depart that same afternoon for the port of Palma to begin a Mediterranean cruise.
