The incident occurred around 12:45 PM near kilometer 1 of the highway. According to sources from the 112 Emergency Service, several drivers alerted authorities and helped the occupants exit the vehicle. Upon the arrival of the Firefighters, no one was reported trapped inside the car. It is currently unknown if any occupants sustained injuries.
As a result of the accident, the Civil Guard has closed the right lane in the direction of San Fernando, near kilometer 2.5. This measure is causing slow traffic, classified as yellow level, due to the narrowing of the road. Traffic in Cádiz is also affected, with congestion in the Zona Franca heading out of the city.
Firefighters from the Consortium, Civil Guard Traffic, 061 (emergency medical services), and road maintenance personnel have been dispatched to the scene to manage the situation and restore normal traffic flow.
