The operation, coordinated by the Cadiz Command, resulted in nine arrests and 17 searches in Seville. The investigation began after a stolen vehicle was detected in a tourist rental property in Conil de la Frontera, leading to a joint intervention with the Civil Guard.
During the property search, two stolen vehicles with false license plates were seized, one of which had been modified to increase its cargo capacity, presumably for transporting large quantities of drugs. Firearms, including an assault rifle, ammunition, bulletproof vests, tracking devices, and equipment with police insignia were also confiscated.
According to the investigation, the suspects planned to impersonate police officers, using clothing and devices similar to official ones, a tactic known as "policía full," to access the drug stash house and steal the narcotics. The stolen substances were allegedly intended for sale to other organizations operating in Seville.
Investigators also linked the group to security roles at drug drop-off points and to a violent assault on a jeweler in Arcos de la Frontera. Furthermore, one of the arrested individuals is being investigated for allegedly shooting at a Civil Guard officer during a drug drop near the mouth of the Guadalquivir river.
The operation, which included 17 searches in Sevillian towns such as Dos Hermanas, Alcalá de Guadaíra, Carmona, and Utrera, led to nine arrests, including a minor. Over 45,000 euros in cash, firearms, ammunition, mobile phones, jewelry, and vehicles were seized.
The arrested individuals are provisionally charged with crimes including robbery with violence and intimidation, trafficking and possession of war weapons, illegal possession of firearms, drug trafficking, vehicle theft, document forgery, and serious disobedience. The case is being handled by the Investigating Court number 6 of Chiclana de la Frontera.
