Cádiz is gearing up to host the kick-off of the 2026 Nintendo Switch Summer Tour from June 28th to 30th. This traveling family entertainment event, which will visit 13 Spanish cities until September 4th, begins in the Andalusian capital.
Plaza de San Antonio will be transformed for three days into a space exceeding 550 square meters dedicated to gaming, interaction, and fun. The initiative, completely free and open to the public, is designed for families, children, and young people, offering a participatory entertainment experience.
The Councilor for Youth and Childhood, Gloria Bazán, highlighted the significance of Cádiz being chosen once again to inaugurate this tour. "For an international brand like Nintendo to choose Cádiz again to start its national tour demonstrates our city's capacity to host major events and offer quality leisure options for all citizens," she stated.
For their part, Nintendo representative Rosa Gil explained that attendees will be able to enjoy various gaming zones with Nintendo Switch titles, as well as complementary activities. Highlights include a themed photo booth for the 40th anniversary of Mario Bros and the Tomodachi Workshop for designing and customizing Miis.
With this edition, Cádiz solidifies its position as a benchmark for organizing innovative leisure events with broad social appeal, serving as the gateway to one of the most anticipated family entertainment tours of the summer.
