The Música del Mar festival, held at the Muelle Reina Victoria in Cádiz, reaffirms its commitment to permanence for 2026 with a varied program including urban, Latin, and 90s hits.

The Música del Mar concert series, taking place at the Muelle Reina Victoria in Cádiz, has unveiled its 2026 summer lineup, establishing itself as a cultural event that was "born to stay," according to its technical director, Ramón Basso. The initiative aims to offer a "diverse" musical selection for a "broad audience," supported by various public administrations.
The presentation, held at the Fundación Cajasol, was attended by the president of the Diputación de Cádiz, Almudena Martínez del Junco; the mayor of Cádiz, Bruno García; the deputy mayor for Tourism, Beatriz Gandullo; and María del Mar Díez, delegate in Cádiz for the Fundación Cajasol. This foundation is one of the key collaborators of the event.
The festival, which had its prelude on May 1st with a concert by Fito & Fitipaldis, will launch its main program starting July 10th and extend through August. The offerings range from current urban rhythms to Latin music and "90s and 2000s nostalgia," as detailed by Basso.
One of the notable additions is a charity night scheduled for August 8th, featuring performances by Amistades Peligrosas and Tam Tam Go!. Proceeds from this concert will go to the Local Council of Brotherhoods and Confraternities of Cádiz, supporting both its charity fund and the heritage of the brotherhoods.
Furthermore, a free concert is planned for July, with specific details and artists yet to be confirmed. The festival director also announced that on July 10th, there will be a tribute to Andalusian culture with Medina Azahara, considered one of the last survivors of the early Andalusian rock scene, alongside local band Alan Nepa.
Catering to younger audiences, the festival will include two urban music events with RVFV (July 11th) and Morad (August 21st). For those wishing to relive past musical eras, the multi-genre festivals Molan los 90 (August 1st) and Caribe Mix (July 18th) have been programmed.
Under a new brand, Mar Latino, the festival will feature artists such as David Bisbal, Rosa López, and Carlos Baute. Additionally, the No Sin Música festival will host Love of Lesbian, Alcalá Norte, and the Cádiz-based band DenisDenis, continuing its commitment to indie music.
Public officials, including Almudena Martínez del Junco and Bruno García, celebrated the continuation of the concert series, emphasizing its role in "making Cádiz greater" and its presence even during "more difficult times."
