The Vox candidacy for the province of Cádiz will be led by Manuel Gavira, who previously headed the list in the Andalusian elections of 2018 and 2022. He will be accompanied in the top positions by Noelia Campos, Salvador Pineda, and Carmen Infantes, who will occupy the second, third, and fourth spots, respectively.
One of the most notable surprises is the absence of José Ortells, former provincial president of Vox and Andalusian parliamentarian since 2023, from the top positions on the list. Ortells had taken his seat after Blanca Armario moved to the Congress of Deputies.
Manuel Gavira, a lawyer by profession, currently serves as Vox's spokesperson in the Parliament of Andalusia and, for the first time, is a candidate for the Presidency of the Junta de Andalucía. His political career includes being a parliamentarian since December 2018, during which time he also served on the Parliament's Bureau. Before entering politics, he worked in commercial and civil mediation and taught legal subjects for the training of National Police, Civil Guard, and security guards.
Noelia Campos, from Jerez, will take the second position. She holds a diploma in Business Sciences and has extensive experience as a sales manager in the medical and pharmaceutical products sector. In third place is Salvador Pineda, a Mathematics teacher since 1991 and head of Organization for Vox's provincial leadership in Cádiz. The fourth position goes to Carmen Infantes, a History graduate, current councilor and spokesperson for Vox in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, and head of Intermunicipal in the party's provincial executive.
Vox's candidacy in Cádiz aims to represent the entire province to end the bipartisan policies that condemn the people of Cádiz to absolute abandonment.
Following the approval of the lists by the National Executive Committee, Vox plans to hold a candidate presentation event in Málaga, which will be attended by the party's president, Santiago Abascal.
