The Literary Presences series at the University of Cádiz, which boasts a 31-year history, will feature a prominent writer and editor at the Constitución 1812 Building. The event, scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM, will include a conversation with journalist Daniel Heredia, exploring various aspects of literary creation and the author's distinguished career.
The writer, who pursued a diverse professional path before establishing herself in the literary field, is the author of several novels. Her works include Las niñas prodigio, which received the Javier Morote Award, and El celo, selected as Book of the Year 2024 by critics from El Cultural.
In addition to her work as a novelist, the author has contributed to various anthologies and has had short stories and excerpts from her books published in international literary magazines. She also regularly contributes columns, articles, and essays to media outlets and participates in radio programs.
Her career includes scholarships and accolades that have fostered her international presence and creative endeavors. In the publishing sector, she has made her debut as an editor for other authors' works and has served as a resident editor for significant imprints.
The UCA's Literary Presences series also has another special event planned as part of the 41st edition of the Cádiz Book Fair, where it will host another acclaimed writer, known for her work Guía de lugares que ya no existen and recipient of awards such as the Planeta and Azorín.
