The event, organized by the MTB Los Enmonaos Sports Club and the Andalusian Cycling Federation with support from the City Council and the Cádiz Provincial Council, will take place on a circuit of approximately two kilometers with start and finish at the Ciudad Deportiva. The route will run along Avenida del Ejército y Príncipe de Asturias and Paseo Juan Ayala.
The competition will begin at 10:00 AM and is expected to conclude around 3:00 PM, after all heats have been contested and the trophy ceremony. Registrations, which are now open through the Andalusian Cycling Federation, can also be completed on the day of the event.
The course, which includes the Gulus roundabout as a delicate point, will have an enhanced security detail with volunteers and an ambulance. The Motorcycling Club will collaborate in opening the race, and the City Council will provide toilets and showers for the riders, aiming to minimize traffic disruption.
The VI Giro Ciudad de La Línea will have a strong competitive character as it is part of major Andalusian calendars. It will be the sixth and final event of the Andalusian Master Road Championship, and will also count towards the Andalusian Women's Road Championship, the CAREBA Cadet and Junior, and the Cádiz Provincial Road Circuit.
This event marks the continuation of an established fixture in the Andalusian cycling calendar. The Andalusian Cycling Federation includes it among the season's road competitions for 2026 and highlights its participation in up to four different events.
The official presentation was attended by the Councilor for Sports, Alejandro Rodríguez, the president of the MTB Los Enmonaos Club, Carlos Javier Navas, and other representatives. Rodríguez congratulated the club for maintaining the event and emphasized the role of volunteers and the Cádiz Provincial Council, stating that the Giro "places the city at the epicenter of Andalusian cycling".
