The competition is aimed at students aged six to twelve, seeking to promote knowledge of the Magna Carta among the youth. Selected works will receive a prize consisting of a cultural trip to a Public Institution and a diploma.
Submissions, limited to a maximum of three pages, must be delivered to the Culture Department of the Ubrique City Council by December 1st, 2026. At the end of the last page, participants must attach a sealed envelope with their personal details: name, age, phone number, school, and grade.
The jury, composed of the Mayor or their delegate, representatives from the political parties within the City Council, and a technician, will jointly evaluate the literary factor, content, and originality of the essays. Winners from the last two editions are not eligible to participate.
The jury's decision, which will select a total of 10 winners, will be announced around Constitution Day and will be final.
