The operation, named «Naturke», began in January following joint inspections with the Labor and Social Security Inspectorate in premises located in El Puerto de Santa María, Prado del Rey, Bornos, and Puerto Serrano. During these actions, five foreign citizens of Pakistani origin in an irregular situation were found working under precarious conditions.
Employees were subjected to labor exploitation, with abusive working hours without rest, salaries far below legal standards, and constant surveillance through cameras installed in the premises.
The investigation revealed that workers suffered degrading treatment, including continuous insults and threats, taking advantage of their particular vulnerability due to their irregular administrative status. In addition to exploitation, a suspected system to facilitate residency in Spain was uncovered.
The entrepreneur allegedly demanded between 6,000 and 8,000 euros from irregular migrants in exchange for a work contract that would allow them to begin the regularization process. Agents also discovered that up to 34 foreign citizens were registered at the investigated individual's properties without actually residing there, aiming to simulate the requirements for residency.
Furthermore, it was confirmed that some foreigners were registered with Social Security without performing actual work, while others worked without being registered. The operation remains open, and further actions are not ruled out in this investigation combining labor exploitation and fraud in regularization processes.
