The objective of this work is to investigate the conscious struggle, especially in these times, between truth with authenticity and the virtual with falsehood. The author invites us to discover the real history of colors in the artistic coatings of Architecture, both in noble buildings and in the environmental landscape and housing.

Architect José María Esteban is set to present his latest publication, 'El color de Cádiz. Reflexiones sobre la pérdida de los revestimientos artísticos en la arquitectura' (The Color of Cadiz. Reflections on the Loss of Artistic Coatings in Architecture), this coming Thursday at the Centro del Vino y la Sal in Chiclana.
The event will commence at 6:30 PM at the aforementioned center, where the author, a native of Cádiz, will share his in-depth study on the history and application of color in architecture, with a specific focus on the Cadiz province and its surrounding areas.
José María Esteban, a distinguished architect, honorary professor, and member of the Real Academia Provincial de Bellas Artes de Cádiz, which he presided over for a period, has compiled extensive historical data and personal reflections in this work. His research delves into the evolution of artistic coatings and their influence on the urban and rural landscapes of the region.
