At the provincial level, average occupancy in the province of Cadiz has exceeded 91% in the first fifteen days of August. Locations such as Rota and Chipiona lead the figures with 96%, followed by Zahara de los Atunes and Conil with 95%. Cadiz capital, Tarifa, and Algeciras record 94%, while San Fernando reaches 92%.
El Puerto de Santa María shares 86% occupancy with Jerez during this period. Horeca positively assesses these results, considering them a reflection of the good moment for tourism in the province.
Looking ahead to the second half of August, forecasts for Jerez indicate an occupancy rate above 74%. The employers' association is confident that last-minute bookings, a common trend in the summer season, may increase this percentage.
Expectations for the second half of the month place coastal destinations like Rota and Conil de la Frontera with forecasts of 91%, and Chiclana exceeding 90%. Cadiz capital expects 87%, while San Fernando stands at 78%.
Regarding estimates for September, hotel occupancy in the province is approaching 78%, with Conil leading (86.9%), followed by Chiclana (86%), and Cadiz capital (79.9%).
