The blaze started on Friday night in an area of stubble and scrap metal located near Hijuela de Geraldino. The rapid response of the crews prevented the flames from spreading to a nearby house and barn.
Extinguishing efforts lasted from 11:00 PM until 2:00 AM. The operation faced challenging weather conditions, characterized by strong easterly winds and high temperatures in the area.
Ten firefighters from the Cádiz Provincial Fire Consortium participated in the deployment, utilizing five vehicles, including rural and urban pumpers, as well as command and tanker units to secure the perimeter.
