The agents prevented the introduction of a significant hashish shipment, which was being transported in 23 sacks. The operation also led to the seizure of a stolen all-terrain vehicle and the boat used for the landing.
The events occurred around four in the morning last Friday, when the Comprehensive Exterior Surveillance System (SIVE) alerted to a boat navigating suspiciously through the channels in the area. Given the suspicion of a possible drug landing, a surveillance operation was established.
Citizen Security units located the unloading area and surprised the individuals in the process of unloading. The detainees were transferring the sacks of hashish from an inflatable boat to an all-terrain vehicle prepared to move the drugs from the area.
At the time of the intervention, agents arrested two people and seized the shipment. Subsequently, a search operation was organized with additional personnel, including members of the Organized Crime and Anti-Drug Team, who managed to arrest two more participants in the operation.
The four detainees, along with the seized drugs and vehicles, were transferred to the Civil Guard Command in Cádiz. There, the narcotic substance was weighed, totaling 915 kilograms of hashish.
