The incident, which occurred near Camino Hijuela del Huevo and Camino Santo Tomás, prompted the deployment of emergency services. Upon arrival, responders confirmed that the poorly constructed dwelling had completely collapsed.
The explosion was caused by a gas cylinder. The homeowner, who was the sole occupant at the time of the event, received immediate medical attention from health services and was subsequently transported by ambulance for various injuries and burns.
Firefighters secured, cleared, and cordoned off the affected area to prevent further hazards. Four personnel and two vehicles, including a heavy urban pumper and a heavy rural pumper, were involved in the operation.
Members of the Local Police and the Civil Guard were also present, coordinating efforts to ensure safety and assist with emergency procedures.
