The LaLiga Hypermotion season has concluded, bringing with it farewells at Cádiz CF. One of the players ending his time with the yellow team is Dawda Camara, who arrived on loan from Girona for the 2025-26 season.
The 23-year-old forward participated in 36 matches for the Cadiz team, accumulating over 1,700 minutes on the field. During his tenure, Camara scored five goals: one in the Copa del Rey against Real Murcia and four in the league, including a goal against Racing de Santander, two against Castellón, and one in the draw against Burgos.
Dawda Camara now returns to Girona, a club with which he has a contract until June 2027. Given the Catalan team's recent relegation to the Second Division, there is a possibility that the forward will be part of the first team and become a rival to Cádiz CF in the silver category.
“"Today I have to say goodbye to a very special stage. Thanks to my teammates, the staff, all the club workers, and the fans who were always there, through good times and bad. Cadiz will always have a place in my heart. Thank you for so much."
The player's farewell message on social media received responses from several of his teammates, such as Joaquín González, Álex Fernández, Moussa Diakité, and Javier Ontiveros, who wished him the best for his future.
