The Baroque Courtyard of the Palacio de la Merced was the chosen venue to make official the incorporation of Enol Rodríguez to Córdoba CF, a player who at 24 years old is part of that brilliant generation of 21st-century players beginning to make a name for themselves in our football.
This was stated by the president of the Diputación de Córdoba, Salvador Fuentes, who, accompanied by the head of Sports at the provincial institution, Antonio Martín, welcomed the white-and-blue club. Fuentes insisted that this is magnificent news for Córdoba CF and all its supporters, and that Enol's signing strengthens a link with Asturias, adding the forward from Candás to the Asturian coach Iván Ania.
Fuentes emphasized the Diputación's ongoing support for Córdoba CF, recognizing that the squad and project excite the province, drawing a significant fanbase and ensuring thousands are thrilled by their play each weekend. For the provincial institution, sport is a priority as a tool for cohesion and development, hence their commitment to promoting grassroots sports and youth academies, as well as clubs that represent Córdoba beyond its borders.
The highest representative of the Diputación congratulated the Spanish National Football Team and its coach, Luis de la Fuente, for becoming World Champions on July 19, 2026, an achievement that made the entire country dream.
Enol Rodríguez, at 24 years old, joins the Córdoba CF project. He began his career at Candás CF, debuting in 2019. He later played for the youth academies of Marino de Luanco, UD Logroñés B, and Real Oviedo, where he debuted with the first team in the Second Division in 2023. In the 2024-25 season, he stood out with CD Arenteiro (7 goals in 35 matches) and signed for SD Huesca in 2025 (5 goals). He now joins Córdoba CF, an exciting project with the support of the provincial institution.
