Over the past weekend, the Local Police of Cádiz deployed a security operation in various areas of the historic center. This operation received crucial support from Lima, a Belgian Malinois dog specifically trained for the detection of narcotic substances.
As a result of this action, a total of five reports were processed for drug possession. Three of these interventions were recorded in the Santa María neighborhood, while the remaining two took place in the city's commercial area.
This initiative is part of the ongoing prevention and control efforts carried out by the Local Police to strengthen citizen security and ensure peaceful coexistence in areas with high public traffic in Cádiz.
Lima, the dog that assisted the officers, is a member of the canine unit of the Local Police of Cádiz. Its specific training and preparation for these types of interventions have been managed entirely by the police institution itself.
