The ceremony will be held at 12:30 PM in front of the Falla Theater, with the attendance of local government officials and the author's family. The event, originally scheduled for May 17 to mark the seventh anniversary of his passing, was postponed to avoid coinciding with the regional elections.

The event will be hosted by presenter Manu Sanchez. Throughout the morning, his musical legacy will be celebrated with a performance by La banda del Capitán Veneno, bringing together members of his most iconic carnival groups and key figures who collaborated closely with him throughout his career.

The tribute will continue in the afternoon at 5:30 PM at La Casa del Carnaval, where a roundtable discussion will be held to analyze the influence and work of the songwriter. The panel will include experts, communicators, and fellow performers who shared the stage and experiences with him.

This recognition is part of an initiative approved by the former Carnival Board to preserve the memory of the great figures of the Cadiz festival. Following this tribute, the schedule of honors will continue in September with the placement of a star dedicated to another historic carnival performer in the same location.
