A total of 1,038,171 residents in Cádiz are eligible to vote in the regional elections scheduled for May 17, 2026. For this electoral event, 582 polling locations have been designated across the province.
While voter registration cards are traditionally sent by postal mail, modern technology offers quick and alternative methods to access this information. With the widespread use of smartphones, voters can now find their polling station details with just a few clicks.
The process to locate one's polling place is straightforward and can be completed through the official website of the National Institute of Statistics (INE). It is crucial to remember that the registered address will determine the specific polling station assigned to each citizen.
To perform the consultation, voters need to access the dedicated section on the INE website. There, a form will request information such as the province and municipality. By also entering the registered address and the initial of the first surname, the system will display the name and exact location of the polling station.
This digital tool, provided by the INE, is not only useful for the upcoming regional elections but can also be utilized for any other electoral process, whether general or municipal, thereby ensuring citizens' right to vote.
