The municipal company Aguas de Cádiz states that the water quality in the city has improved in recent hours and is approaching normality. Following tests and analyses in the historic center sectors still affected by incidents, operators have performed localized purges and continuous measurements. Despite the improvement, the recommendation to avoid consuming water if it is cloudy remains in place pending a final verification test.
On Friday night, it was reported that the area outside the walls was normalized, while several sectors in the historic center experienced issues that could cause water turbidity. In locations where the issue has been resolved, water stored in building tanks might still appear cloudy. In such cases, it is advised not to use it for drinking or food preparation until it becomes clear again.
Aguas de Cádiz apologizes for the inconvenience caused by this incident and thanks the citizens for their understanding and cooperation.
