The extraordinary regularization process for foreign nationals residing in Spain is supported by an extensive network of 436 in-person service points. These offices are distributed among the Social Security, Correos (post office), and Extranjería (immigration) branches, covering all provinces in the country. Staff has been reinforced in areas with a higher concentration of foreign population to optimize service delivery.
Appointments are mandatory for all services at these locations, a measure implemented to manage applicant flow and prevent overcrowding. The Ministry of Inclusion has stressed that no individual will be attended without a prior appointment. Of the total offices, 371 belong to the Correos network, 60 to Social Security, and five to Extranjería.
To facilitate the process without disrupting the regular operations of these centers, specific hours have been designated exclusively for regularization procedures. In the province of Cádiz, 16 offices have been enabled for these processes. Four of these are in the provincial capital, Cádiz (three Correos offices and the provincial INSS headquarters in Plaza de la Constitución). Jerez has three Correos branches, Algeciras and Chiclana have two each, and El Puerto, San Fernando (two), La Línea, and Sanlúcar each have one. All, except the INSS headquarters, are Correos offices.
The five enabled Extranjería offices, located in Madrid, Alicante, Valencia, Almería, and Murcia, offer services in the afternoon, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Social Security offices also maintain this afternoon schedule. The 371 Correos offices, present in provincial capitals and municipalities with over 50,000 inhabitants, operate from Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
The Ministry has launched a dedicated web portal centralizing all updated information on the process, including frequently asked questions, informational videos, and a simulation tool to check eligibility requirements. Through this platform, it is also possible to request an appointment and initiate the online application process, available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Appointments can be requested through three channels: via the Ministry's website with Cl@ve digital identification, by filling out a form on the website to receive a later assignment, or by phone at 060, with service available Monday to Friday during two time slots. The online application allows access for individuals with electronic certificates, through authorized representatives, professional agents, or collaborating entities.
