The incident took place around 11 p.m. when the Civil Guard received an alert about gunshots near Dolores Iráburri street. Upon arrival, patrols and emergency services found a man lying on the public road.
The man, a resident of Utrera, was urgently transported to the Utrera High Resolution Hospital with gunshot wounds but succumbed to his injuries during the transfer.
The Judicial Police of the Civil Guard of Seville have launched an investigation to clarify the causes of the incident and identify potential perpetrators. At this time, no hypothesis has been ruled out.
The deceased was a 45-year-old Spanish male residing in the town.
